AHeAD is currently a research center at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette that partners with universities to create technologies that will transform health and wellbeing. We leverage our AI, computing expertise, collaborative industry partnerships, and deep community engagement. We would love to work with you.  Our mission is to pursue use-driven research that creates trustworthy AI systems, develop technologies that democratize access to quality healthcare for all populations, and train students to address workforce skill gaps.

We are in the process of applying for a National Science Foundation Industry University Research Center that will bring together interdisciplinary experts in various topics related to AI, ML, clinical and public health decision support, and implementation science.

What is a National Science Foundation Industry University Cooperative Research Center?

The IUCRC program accelerates the impact of basic research through close relationships between industry innovators, world-class academic teams, and government leaders. IUCRCs help corporate partners and government agencies connect directly and efficiently with university researchers.
